A look at #140conf and how I won an iPad

I talked a lot about the #140conf at both the LVTweetups and our radio show.  What a great time with some great people!!  Here is a video summary of my overall thoughts, and while I was there, I won an iPad (thanks to @twitgift). How do the two relate?? You have to watch the video to find out!

I also met @GaryVee – Gary Vaynerchuk and he gave a HUGE shoutout to the Lehigh Valley.  If you like wine, there will be a Tweetup opportunity with a road trip to his Wine Library store in NJ in the near future!

All Tweetups are not created equal..

With the responsibility of running the Lehigh Valley Tweetups comes the need for due-diligence to make sure we are providing the best possible experience for our tweeps.  This required some investigative research into none other than the city that “never sleeps” – New York City.  Word broke in early May of a Tweetup in NYC hosted by VH1’s Best Week Ever show.  A few of us traveled out to see what it was all about and make sure it held the same high standard as the Lehigh Valley Tweetups.  It promised big names and a good time, and it delivered!  Stars included host Paul F. Tompkins, Doug Benson, Chuck Nice, and even the PC Guy from the Mac commercials John Hodgman.  The place was crowded and a good time was had by all.  See the Best Week Ever blog entry for more pictures and gossipy details.
